The Department of Computer Science Engineering was started in the year 2008 and this institute with an intake capacity 30 at present the department was setup keeping in view of the increasing demand of the industry and it able to fulfill the same.

The fundamental objective of our Computer Science program is to provide the opportunity for our students to develop a firm foundation in Mathematics, Science and design methodology of computing systems. The department strives to become a pioneering world-class centre of excellence in education and research through collaborative, consultative and participatory approaches, to nurture effective capabilities for the development of high quality technical and scientific manpower to meet the challenges of the knowledge era and to foster learning and creative community that strives to continuously advance the frontiers of knowledge and promote the deployment and usage of ICT-based applications for the betterment of society.

The three year Diploma course in Computer Science Engineering enables the students to develop their knowledge and skill in the areas of :

In this Department all the laboratories are fully furnished with tools and equipment having latest state of technology. This Department has the following laboratories with sophisticated equipments to provide adequate practical training to students.

Higher Education:
A diploma holder in Computer Sc. & Engineering, can avail opportunities to take admission into 2nd year of B.Tech course under Lateral Entry category through Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE).
